Born in Toronto, I moved to the West Coast after graduating form the University of Guelph with a degree in Wildlife Biology in 1991. I spent the early 90's studying the impact of deforestation on wildlife and falling in love with the west coast. I retired from biology work to raise a family in North Saanich, while staying in touch with wildlife through my camera. I have been lucky to have travelled to over a dozen countries to capture the wonders of the world.

My photos  have been featured in Canadian Geographic, British Columbia Magazine and on the cover of Seaside Magazine. I have won metals and Merit awards from The Toronto Salon Photography and CAPA . I have also been in the finals for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Bird Photographer of the Year . My volunteer work includes photographing for Belfours Calendar "Officers On Pawtrol" to help raise money for people who need help with their vet bills
