    Alan is a self-taught and award-winning photographer based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He turned his focus to commercial photography of natural subjects in 2002 following several years as an amateur. His large format photographs are available as original prints and limited editions. His works

    Alan’s photographs were accepted for the Sooke Fine Arts Show in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, winning Honourable Mention Awards in 2009 and 2010.  Other juried shows have included artShots in Delta in 2007, the Sidney Fine Art Show in 2007, 2009, 2011 (Honourable Mention), 2012, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2019 and Through The Lens II at the Coast Collective Gallery, Colwood in 2011. 

    Alan is the founding director of the new photographers GALLERY that operated in Sidney By the Sea from 2019 to 2023.  His works are available as limited edition prints from his studio in Victoria, British Columbia.
